Hearts. Roses. Bright red and pink. Sappy movies on TV. Without question love is in the air, and every February 14 countless cards and candies are given to express how we feel towards one another. The season comes and goes, but love, God’s kind of love, remains and endures.
The reputation of one who follows Jesus is to be one of love. Without love all that we do or say, no matter how great and important it is in our eyes, is a clanging gong, a loud and annoying noise.
With love we imitate God, the One who is love. With love, we continue the work Christ began when He showed His love for us on the cross. With love, we strengthen friendships and open doors of forgiveness and healing with enemies. And with love, we bring a taste of heaven and a touch from God to those who are hurting and without hope.
As we follow Christ, let us fulfill the Law and the prophets by loving God and loving others in the same manner in which Christ has loved us.

Hello from Main Street
January 24 was truly a day like no other!
A new chapter in our ministry to children and families began Sunday with the unveiling of FBA Kids on Main Street. From the moment that God laid it upon our hearts to build this new space we dreamed of this day, yet even our wildest hopes and expectations fell far short of what God had prepared for us.
We saw many old friends and met new ones as children brought their friends to hear about Jesus. Main Street was packed as Dr. Stanley joined us to dedicate our new space to the Lord. Sweet voices filled the air with songs of praise unto the Lord as we gathered in our standing room only assembly room. Life-changing truth was shared from the Word of God by teachers who love the Lord. And kids went away excited to tell others of a Father who is faithful, of a church who loves children, and of a Sunday that is coming where they too could come join us and see for themselves.
We look forward to seeing you and your family next Sunday!
