Know Your Bible Reading Program

Know Your Bible Reading Program

January 21-March 25
If becoming a deeper student of God’s Word is one of your resolutions for 2018, then join us for the Media Library’s winter reading program: Know Your Bible: It’s All About God’s Word! Along with your daily Bible reading, dig deeper by reading any book from the Library’s 200s sections. Tell us about the book in a short review. Then, you may participate in the Name That Book in the Jar Contest. Surprises will be awarded for the best review and for the winners of the Name That Book in the Jar Contest. We’ll also have a surprise for the Sunday School class with the most participants.

The Know Your Bible Reading Program is open to all library patrons with accounts in good standing. Stop by the Media Library, located on the lower level near the Chapel, to pick up your entry form. Bible reading plans are also available.

If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. (John 8:31b-32)

Classics Book Club

Join us on selected Sundays of each month for a lively discussion of some spiritual classics. Books are available for checkout in the Media Library.

The Classics Book Club strives to study Scripture at a deeper level, aided by time-honored works by established Christian giants. We dig into themes and concepts, such as humility, prayer, worship and entertainment, holiness, grace, the Holy Spirit, and discipleship, using books by A.W. Tozer, J.I. Packer, Billy Graham, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Francis Schaeffer and others.

We seek to avoid "rusty swords" and, therefore, follow Proverbs 27:17, which says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."
