Frequently Asked Questions
Where do my kids go?
We have age-specific classes for kids and students of all ages. Follow the signs to the East Hallway when you arrive and our team will help you get everyone checked into the right class.
What should I wear?
We invite you to come as you are and dress for church. We are a multi-generational church, so on any given Sunday, you’re guaranteed to find folks dressed just like you.
What if my baby starts crying during service?
We love children here, and we understand how hard it can be to sit in service and care for little ones. To make sure you and your family are comfortable, we’ve prepared a Family Worship area just down the stairs outside the Worship Center. We livestream the service in this area and have plenty of tables and chairs for families to sit together, color, and eat snacks while still enjoying the service.
What if my kids need me during service?
In the unlikely event your child or our staff need your assistance during service, our team will contact you via text.
Can I watch the service online?
Yes, we stream our services live each and every Sunday.
What are services like?
Our church service is a welcoming and uplifting experience. We begin with inspiring worship music, featuring a mix of contemporary songs and classic hymns led by our talented choir and worship team. This is followed by a practical and thoroughly biblical message that is designed to encourage and challenge us in our daily lives. Services typically last around 75 minutes and include time for prayer, reflection, and worship.
How can I become a member?
We’re thrilled that you would ask! Your next step is to join us in First Class, led by Dr. Anthony George and our pastors, to learn more about who we are and what we believe in a relaxed, interactive setting. After the class, you’ll have the opportunity to officially be received into membership at First Baptist Atlanta.
Arrival and Parking
We’re excited to welcome you to First Baptist Atlanta! As you arrive on campus for your first visit, our friendly parking team is here to guide you directly to our visitor parking area. They’ll make sure your experience is smooth and comfortable, helping you find your way around our large property with ease.
After you’ve become familiar with the layout, feel free to choose parking anywhere that’s convenient. We have ample spaces available on all sides of our building. If you need a little extra help, our team is ready to lend a hand at the North Portico entrance—just look for the signs and friendly faces!
