Adventures in Missions Series

Adventures in Missions Series

April 29 | 12:30 p.m. | Lakeside Grill
We hope that you will join us to encourage Keith Patman, an FBA faith-promise supported missionary who travels to French-speaking Central African countries to help translate the Bible.

Keith’s ministry focus is on training and equipping Africans who are translating the Bible into their own languages. He writes verse-by-verse translation guides in French, which are widely distributed in print or electronic format to African translation teams. These guides help the teams understand the Scripture text as they translate it into their own languages. SIL International (originally known as the Summer Institute of Linguistics, Inc.) is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to serving language communities worldwide. Keith is part of a SIL translation team whose members live in Africa, Europe and North America.

ESL and Citizenship Classes

ESL and Citizenship Classes

Starting Back This Fall
English as a Second Language (ESL) and Citizenship classes are on break for the summer and will begin again in September.  Please check back for details about the fall session.

ESL classes are for adults from any country. Students are broken out into one of three groups: Beginners, for those who speak little or no English; Intermediate, for those who know just enough English to get by; and Advanced, for those who want to improve their English including their pronunciation and accent.

Citizenship classes are for anyone on the path to United States citizenship. This class will explain the citizenship process and help prepare students for the English requirements of the citizenship test.

All classes are free, and child care is available. For more information, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Carlos Garcia – This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
The Sunday school class is from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Room 2660, and the Spanish worship service is from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the Chapel. We have a time of traditional worship and a message by Dr. Charles Stanley, professionally translated by In Touch Ministries. The Sunday School class and the worship service are to edify the believers and to reach the non-believers with the saving message of Christ. Our goal is to fulfill the Great Commission and for this reason we always make an invitation to accept Christ as Lord and Savior at the end of each service. Please join us at 9:30 a.m. to enjoy some coffee and have a time of fellowship before the class.

Wednesdays:  We have a Bible study and a prayer meeting in Room 2660 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
