Lanzarote Mission Trip Report

Lanzarote Mission Trip Report

August 18 | 12:15 p.m. | Room 1550
At 70 degrees and sunny year-round, the island of Lanzarote proves an incredible destination for adventure seekers. With magnificent beaches, simmering volcanoes and unbelievable natural parks, this vacation destination hotspot appears to be heaven on earth. However, Lanzarote lacks the churches needed to bring the Gospel of Jesus and contains a very high population of unreached people.

Join us Sunday, August 18 to learn how FBA short-term missionaries and Operation Mobilization church planters spent time serving others with outreach programs in the Canary Islands.

Florida Keys Interest Meeting

Florida Keys Interest Meeting

August 25 | 12:15 p.m. | Room 1360
The Florida Keys have long since been a popular destination for those looking for an escape filled with warm breezes, dazzling blue water and white sandy beaches. But when Hurricane Irma hit the state of Florida in August 2017, the storm caused detrimental effects on the area, laying waste to hundreds of homes, businesses and communities.

To help our neighbors to the south get back on their feet, FBA is offering a short-term mission trip in December to assist with post-disaster related recovery. Join us Sunday, August 25, to learn how you can help rebuild the hardest-hit areas in the Florida Keys and encourage those in need with love and support.

The Sunday school class is from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Room 2660, and the Spanish worship service is from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the Chapel. We have a time of traditional worship and a message by Dr. Charles Stanley, professionally translated by In Touch Ministries. The Sunday School class and the worship service are to edify the believers and to reach the non-believers with the saving message of Christ. Our goal is to fulfill the Great Commission and for this reason we always make an invitation to accept Christ as Lord and Savior at the end of each service. Please join us at 9:30 a.m. to enjoy some coffee and have a time of fellowship before the class.

Wednesdays:  We have a Bible study and a prayer meeting in Room 2660 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
