Adventures in Missions Series

Adventures in Missions Series

February 25 | 12:30 p.m. | Heritage Hall
We hope that you will join us to encourage David and Wrenn Thomas, FBA faith-promise supported missionaries in Kosovo.

The Thomases have been church planters since 1995. David and Wrenn completed a church plant in Ferizaj, where David preaches regularly and is helping to train a local believer to become the pastor of the church. They are currently building a new church plant in Shtime, which is their third church plant in the district.

David is the team leader for Pioneer’s Kosovo team. He is involved in daily evangelism and relationship building. The Thomases use music, summer camp and community-center style ministry to reach out to the youth in the area. David teaches guitar and percussion to students. Wrenn home schools their youngest son, disciples women, and hosts a book club for girls. As a nurse, Wrenn also holds medical care seminars to build relationships with local doctors.

Citizenship classes are for anyone on the path to United States citizenship. This class will explain the citizenship process and help prepare students for the English requirements of the citizenship test. The Citizenship workbook is $15.

Students may join the classes on any Wednesday during the ESL year by registering between 5-8 p.m. in Room 2410. All classes are free, and child care is available. The Sunday school class is from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Room 2660, and the Spanish worship service is from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the Chapel. We have a time of traditional worship and a message by Dr. Charles Stanley, professionally translated by In Touch Ministries. The Sunday School class and the worship service are to edify the believers and to reach the non-believers with the saving message of Christ. Our goal is to fulfill the Great Commission and for this reason we always make an invitation to accept Christ as Lord and Savior at the end of each service. Please join us at 9:30 a.m. to enjoy some coffee and have a time of fellowship before the class.

Wednesdays:  We have a Bible study and a prayer meeting in Room 2660 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
